TD Cowen advises ADAC SE on a Strategic Investment in Nui Care

Overview

Transaction

TD Cowen is pleased to announce that ADAC SE is partnering with Nui Care GmbH through a strategic investment.

Both companies are entering into a partnership to support family caregivers. To this end, ADAC SE is participating in the further development of Nui Care’s care solutions via a convertible bond and broad marketing. A digital care platform with personal advice is to be developed on the basis of the Nui app. The aim is to be the point of contact for all care-related concerns. For example, relatives will be provided with reliable information and supported in organizing their daily lives.

In the future, a jointly developed digital solution for ADAC members will also be offered. The common goal is a future in which seniors and people in need of care can live in their own homes under good conditions even in old age, and relatives can provide loving, high-quality care despite having a job, family and hobbies.

“Our partnership is designed as a strategic participation and is intended to establish our commitment to home care,” said Sascha Coccorullo, Head of Strategy at ADAC SE. “We want to support Nui in its activities in this important field of our society on a permanent basis. In a second step, we also plan to jointly develop digital solutions for private care management, which we will offer to ADAC members from 2024.”

“Today, we already count around five million people in need of care in Germany, while the number of caregivers is continuously decreasing and without them the system would collapse,” said Markus C. Müller, CEO of Nui Care GmbH. “To be able to help even more people, we are cooperating with ADAC SE and together we are taking care support to a new level. In this way, we use the trust in ADAC, its proven structures and enormous reach, and combine them with the comprehensive expertise in the care sector, the agility and the innovative power of Nui Care,” says the CEO, who is also active as an honorary companion for the dying.
