Quarton International has advised the Röchling Group, a Mannheim-based plastics specialist, on the acquisition of FRANK plastic AG, a provider for medical and industrial technology based in Waldachtal/Baden-Württemberg, from Ferdinand Piëch Beteiligungs GmbH – subject to antitrust approval. The parties have agreed not to disclose any further information.

FRANK plastic AG, based in Waldachtal near Freudenstadt/Black Forest, is a traditional family company founded in 1940, which manufactures sophisticated parts and products for medical technology and industrial technology with a broad portfolio of manufacturing and assembly technology expertise and supports its customers with expanded development and regulatory services. It was acquired by Ferdinand Piëch Beteiligungs GmbH in 2013 and generated sales of EUR 32.4 million in 2017.
