Transaction
Quarton International exclusively advised m4e AG, an international brand management and media company, on obtaining financing for the acquisition of co-production shares in “Mia and Me”, an animated television series broadcast worldwide, from Rainbow S.r.l.
50 percent of international rights in “Mia and Me”, a successful TV series and well-established brand, are held by Hahn & m4e Productions GmbH, a 50/50 joint venture of Gerhard Hahn/Hahn Film AG and m4e AG. The current transaction adds an additional 45 percent to m4e AG’s rights portfolio. Hahn Film AG acquires the remaining 5 percent in the course of the transaction. Rights for Italy remain with Rainbow S.r.l. Accordingly, m4e AG is set to receive approximately 70 percent of all international net proceeds from “Mia and Me” starting with the current financial year.
