Cowen advises the shareholder of LD Personalvermittlung GmbH on the sale to House of HR

Cowen advised Stephan Meyer, the shareholder of LD Personalvermittlung GmbH (“Locum Doctors”), a leading locum physician agency in Germany, on its sale to staffing provider House of HR. Stephan Meyer will take a reverse stake in House of HR following the sale of his shares.

Locum Doctors was founded in 2017 in Oberasbach near Nuremberg by Stephan Meyer and today employs 36 people. Thanks to its focus on the placement of doctors, the company has successfully positioned itself as a specialist agency in a rapidly growing market. Today, Locum Doctors has a steadily growing pool of more than 4,500 doctors and is partner to over 270 clinics in Germany. Together with House of HR and its new investor Bain Capital, the company will continue to drive its growth strategy and plans to establish itself in neighboring countries in the future.

House of HR, a leading provider of HR services in Europe, has already gained a specialist for medical recruitment in Germany with the acquisition of avanti GmbH in April 2021. With the acquisition of Locum Doctors, the Health Care division is now to be further strengthened.
