Quarton International is pleased to announce that Experi-Metal, Inc. (“EMI,” or the “Company”) has been acquired by The Watermill Group (“Watermill”). Experi-Metal is a leading provider of prototyping and complex metalformed parts and assemblies primarily for the automotive and aerospace markets. EMI will complement its Watermill sister company, Quality Metalcraft (QMC), a leading producer of engineered structural metal components and assemblies, providing advanced prototype, specialty production and factory assist services. Quarton International acted as the exclusive financial advisor to EMI, working closely with the management team and shareholders throughout the sale process.
EMI specializes in highly engineered, metalformed prototypes, sub-assemblies, full Body-In-White (BIW) assemblies and bridge production, with a proficiency in designs that are complex in geometry and often utilize advanced materials. The Company has developed a sterling reputation in its served market and has developed strong relationships with a broad range of blue chip and start-up customers across automotive, aerospace, defense and the alternative energy sectors.
