Quarton, A Cowen Company (“Quarton”) advised the investment company EMERAM Capital Partners GmbH (“EMERAM”) on the acquisition financing for the purchase of the ]init[ AG digital communications (“]init[“), a leading German provider of digital transformation services. Dirk Stocksmeier, Chief Executive Officer and founder of ]init[, will continue to hold a significant stake in the company. The parties have agreed not to disclose further details.
With the acquisition of the e-Society specialist, EMERAM is investing in another German medium-sized company with significant growth potential. Founded in 1995, ]init[ today employs more than 500 people at its headquarters in Berlin and locations in Cologne, Mainz, Munich, Hamburg, Delhi and Brussels.
Dirk Stocksmeier sees ]init[ as an important instigator of the digitization of public administration and the economy: “We have made it our mission to accompany our customers on their way to digitization and to put them in a position to actively use the opportunities of digital change.
