Jay Beaghan is a Partner at Cowen with more than 25 years of experience advising Technology or Services businesses and Private Equity or Venture Capital firms on Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Financings (Institutional Private Placements, Strategic Partnerships and Public Offerings) through over 100 transactions in Infrastructure, Software, Security, or Business Process Outsourcing, a sector in which he also served as an interim CFO. Mr. Beaghan spent his prior career in California based growth-oriented Investment Banks such as Robertson Stephens, for which he managed multiple Technology practices. He assists Cowen in covering DACH and Benelux as well as Transatlantic bridging of Cowen’s substantial full-service capabilities for clients seeking relevant international opportunities.
Mr. Beaghan holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Notre Dame (Accounting and Finance), and a professional Doctorate (JD) from Loyola with a focus on Corporate and Securities law.
