The summer in Leipzig was ideal for our monthly afterworks. We enjoyed the lively atmosphere of the city and got together in the bars and beer gardens of the old town and trendy neighborhoods. But even beyond that, the summer was rich in shared experiences:
At this year’s company run in Leipzig we were at the start with about 20 colleagues. In the TD-green running shirt, some even ran their personal best time! After this sportive success the team went to the comfortable beer garden of the Felsenkeller.
Finally, we were able to compete against the other teams in soccer at the HHL European Ivy League.
In July and August we continued on sand. Like last year, we meet for beach volleyball and hit the ball over the net until late at night.
The highlight of our summer so far was undoubtedly our summer party in Berlin: Together with around 60 colleagues from Leipzig, Munich, Frankfurt, Zurich and Berlin, we sought adventure on the Teufelsberg in Berlin’s Grunewald forest. We demonstrated curiosity, creativity and courage to scale walls, explore tunnels and ultimately recover the treasure as a team. The idyllic Lindwerder Island on the Havel River was then the perfect place in the evening, where we ended the day at sunset.
And now back in Leipzig we are already working on the next coming events! Stay tuned.
